Trent James is just 23 years old, but he's already a showbiz veteran. If you've been paying attention, you likely know that the Brookfield native and Riverside-Brookfield High School graduate, has been honing his craft as a performing magician for nearly a decade.

We first profiled James – then known simply as T.J Ketchmark – back in 2012, just before he was to head to Las Vegas to appear in the "Stars of Tomorrow" showcase that year at the Golden Nugget casino.

Well, tomorrow has arrived and Trent James now has a regular gig every Wednesday night through March as the artist-in-residence at the Chicago Magic Lounge in Chicago.

He's also the subject of a Q&A published Feb. 13 by Chicago Magazine, in which James discusses his evolution as a performer and his act "Pure Lies."
